EDF Energy to give away free solar panels
EDF Energy is making news right now as they are planning on creating one of the biggest giveaways of its kind, teaming up with the UK’s largest solar power company. The goal is to create a large retail entity of retail solar power by decade’s end.
There have been an evolution in the way that people get their power. Power consumption and changes have come through in a variety of different ways, and people of all backgrounds have started to adopt greener measures. But one of the things that is starting to be problematic overall is that of cost, and options. Even though solar is starting to get a good conversation in play, the cost has been quite difficult because of the reliance people have on a grid. The grid energy element costs a great deal and some have called the solar power boom a failure, since there’s a “roller coaster” of cost, and savings that doesn’t level out with ease.
Solar Beats Out Batteries For going Green In The Home
There are a lot of people that will tell you that batteries are the best way to infuse the idea of going green in your home. That includes people that are using elements of solar, but have a battery back up instead of having the solar element take over most of the power in a home. With that in mind, you’re going to find that a lot of the renewable energy in a home could be wasted. How does this occur? Well you’ll need to factor in a few things before you can fully grasp why solar beats out battery power for efficient energy.
Solar power is on the horizon as being one of the most compelling new options in the future. But you may not know that if you’re following along with what the government in the UK is trying to do. You see, there is a new tax that is in play, and it’s causing the cost of solar to be quite expensive and out of reach of many consumers.
